Who operates Cliplab

Cliplab, also called Clip Lab in the Mac application, is operated by Ahmad Fauzan Azhim. This policy covers our website, the current Mac pre-release, and information you send to afauzan.azhim@gmail.com.

We use information to deliver the website, carry out editing actions you choose, answer support requests and protect the service. We do not sell your personal information or use your videos for advertising.

Current availability. The website is an interactive product preview. The Mac application is a pre-release. TikTok testing is limited to authorized Sandbox accounts; public connection, posting and analytics are not available through the website.

Website visits

The website is served at cliplab.ai.id by Cloudflare, which forwards requests to the site hosted on Vercel. Delivering a page involves technical information such as your IP address, browser details, requested URL and request time. Cloudflare and Vercel process infrastructure and security information under their privacy notices (Cloudflare, Vercel). Retention depends on each service and applicable requirements.

The current site has no sign-in, payment collection, advertising trackers or website analytics scripts. Its preview controls do not set application cookies or save preferences in browser storage. A file you select or a video link you paste stays in the current page session. The preview does not upload the file, download the link or send either to an AI service.

The homepage loads reference brand images from klap.app. Loading these images exposes network information, including your IP address, to that host. Fonts, generated illustrations and the playable sample are served with the Cliplab website. These policy pages use only assets served with our website. External links open services with their own policies.

Editing on your Mac

The current Mac workflow processes source videos, speech transcripts, face and motion tracking, selected moments, captions and editorial reviews locally. Local models produce suggestions on your Mac. Cliplab does not automatically upload these files to the operator or a model-training service.

Projects, previews, tracking results and exports use local storage. Referenced source files stay at their saved locations. If you import an online video, the local downloader contacts that video service. Installing or downloading a model or processing component also contacts its distributor.

You can export editorial reviews as a dataset containing transcript excerpts, decisions and edit history. Exporting a dataset does not train a model. You control where the file is stored and who receives it. The current editorial export excludes TikTok-derived information.

TikTok connection

Sandbox testing only. The optional test workflow requests permission to identify your TikTok account, post a video you approve and read available engagement counts for linked public posts. Connecting an account requires TikTok authorization and an authorized Sandbox account. Public access has not been enabled.

The implementation stores account credentials in macOS Keychain. The separate Sandbox account service runs on Vercel behind Cloudflare. Cloudflare terminates the encrypted connection at api.cliplab.ai.id and forwards each request to Vercel over a new encrypted connection, so both providers handle these requests in transit. The service processes authorization codes, PKCE verifiers, access tokens and refresh/revocation requests to communicate with TikTok. Its application code does not receive video files, keep credentials in a database or write request bodies and credentials to logs. Cloudflare and Vercel process infrastructure request records under their own policies, including technical details such as IP address, path, request time and status. Provider-managed retention follows each provider's practices. We will update this notice before changing the provider or enabling a different public service.

For an enabled connection, the prepared workflow sends the approved final video and chosen post settings directly from your Mac to TikTok. Local records include account and upload identifiers, post settings, a clip snapshot, processing status and available metric snapshots. Disconnect & delete data removes that account's local credentials, post records and metrics, and attempts to revoke access. It does not delete posts on TikTok or separate video projects. If revocation cannot be confirmed, remove the permission in TikTok too.

We do not automatically train models from editorial reviews or TikTok metrics. TikTok handles information it receives under its own Privacy Policy.

Support and retention

If you email us, we receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Support email is handled through Gmail. We use it to respond, investigate the issue and keep necessary correspondence. Do not send passwords, access tokens, client secrets or videos you do not have permission to share.

We keep support correspondence while needed to resolve and follow up on your request, maintain necessary service records or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it. Provider-managed infrastructure records follow the provider's retention practices. We do not promise that deleting an email immediately removes every provider backup.

Local project data remains on your Mac until you remove it. Files in backups, synced folders or shared exports also follow the storage settings you choose. Website hosting, email and external services may process information outside your country.

Your choices

You can use the public preview without creating an account. Clear the page or close it to discard selected files and links from the page session. Delete local projects, caches and exports from their saved locations when you no longer need them.

For information held by the operator, email us to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise an objection or privacy concern. The rights available to you depend on applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and retain information when legally required. We cannot remotely delete data that exists only on your Mac or remove a copy you shared with someone else.

Changes and contact

We will date updates on this page and explain material changes before new processing begins. Contact Ahmad Fauzan Azhim at afauzan.azhim@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.
